WHY I LOVE MY FAMILY....TODAY

Today I love Max because he is the hardest worker I know. Other people might think their spouse works the hardest, but they are wrong. Hands down, Max wins the prize.

Sunday night/Monday morning it started to snow. It was little snow / big snow, which means little flakes = big amounts. We got BIG amounts. My Max got up at 5:30 ish in the AM to shovel our treacherous driveway so I could leave - if I wanted to. I didn't want to. Then he drove himself an hour and a half to work (on account of all the snow). He worked all day in rotten weather, on a very beautiful hard house. Then, he drove himself home in equally rotten weather with all the other crazies coming home from work, just to start shoveling the driveway for another 2 hours.

It snowed ALL the dang day. He didn't complain, he didn't think I should shovel, on account of I have been feverish for about 2 weeks. He just came home and was happy and only just a little concerned about where he was going to put all that shovelly snow. The sides of our driveway are already 4 feet deep. (that's about as tall as Maddy if you were trying to picture) Then, as if that wasn't enough, he got up at 5:30ish AM and shoveled until nearly seven.

IT'S STILL SNOWING.

Plus, to top it off, he wears this cooky hat all the time. That's why I love Max, today.

NOW for Why I love Maddy....

Her teacher left this note on her desk yesterday morning. She was the only one who got one, Maddy is a pleasure. I love Maddy also because she didn't tell any of her friends about the note, on account of she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelers, I believe. (she might have told Bailey, cuz you must tell you best ever friend everything)

I love Maddy, but today I love her because she is a great little kid.
And her teacher thinks so too.

As for Miss RUBY....

Yesterday Ruby and I were wrapping presents. She is a teller of gifts. She kept asking who each present was for. I kept saying "I'm not telling you, because you'll tell them what it is" She said she wouldn't and I said "what will you say if they ask you what's in their present?"

She thought for a few seconds and then blurted out:

TUNA FISH!

And that's why I love Ruby today, she cracks me UP.

Who Ruby loves most...

Last night at dinner, Ruby said the prayer.

This is how it went:

"Dear Fad-er" (Dear Heavenly Father)

"Fank vee (thank thee) for the blessings"

"Fank vee for the food"

"and fank it." (that means 'please bless it')

"bless that Me and Maddy won't be crabby to each udder" (each other)

"and Please bless my Daddy to always remember that I love him"

"In the name of Jesus Amen"

I'm going to go cry on my huge pilla.

the end.

Happy BIRTHDAY Mom...

On this very day my cute mom was born. Just a few years ago. And I am so glad she was.

I only have 2 pictures in all my files of my Mom. Because she's mostly doing this when you see her:

She is the ultimate "Camera Monkey" She's forever taking pictures, and she's usually annoying about it, but she always says: "YOU'LL THANK ME LATER" and we always do.

I love my Mom the best of anyone in the whole world. And I'm pretty sure she loves me just the same.

She's the funnest lady I have ever know. I laugh so much when ever we get together. She's always up for lunch, or just bumming with me while we do errands. She's drop anything she's doing to rescue me, play, or even sit on the lawn swings and eat rhubarb. Which is probably my favorite thing to do with her.

She teaches me all sorts of things about being a better, nicer, more compassionate, more loving, more understanding person. Just by the way she lives. She's so great she had people who love her who haven't ever met her. Her blog is VERY popular.

I have always said I can't speak at her funeral because I will be crying to hard to even utter a word. Just my "Moo Cow cry" is all you'd hear out of my mouth. I will be completely crushed if my Mom ever dies. So she mustn't ever do it.

She is so creative, in fact, I can't ever get a word in if Elasta Girl is around my Mom because she is telling her a story. I can't blame her, I still think my stuffed animals get up in the night and have dancing parties, because she told me stories about that all the time.

This is the other picture I have of Mom. It's at Heed and Trisha's wedding. And Roo was not quite one.

My Mom is the best Mom in the whole world. My friend Shan commented on my Mom's blog asking how come it was I got her for a Mom and she didn't? I say it's because I needed her the most. Plus, I'm the coolest.

Mom, I truly, truly love you more than frosting and elbow skins and Gilmore Girls and shoes.

Happy Birthday. Thanks for spending some of it with us.

I haven't found a better party than THESE!
