Yes. All nine year olds act like that. At least the ones I know.

very cute photography! you gotta love the crusty honker shot. I think not all nine-year-olds are as special as my niece. She is a wonderful little character!
EVERY time I get out my camera (when it worked at least) there were pictures of Brigham's face. He LOVES self portraits apparantly. Hey we'll never have a shortage of face shots at least.
