The absent minded Tooth Fairy.....

Maddy lost a tooth a couple of weeks ago. After it had been nearly a week of Tooth Fairyless nights she wrote this note, and stuck it in the hallway. For some reason I transfered it to my very exact bathroom mirror. (I have no idea why I would do that)

And VIOLA! A dollar suddenly appeared under her pillow.

PS: FYI and totally off the subject, Ruby's belly button is TWICE the size of Maddy's.

The end.

We must have the same tooth fairy. I'm so glad it's not only my kids who get stood-up more than one or even two nights in a row. Sometimes when i go in the kids room in the morning after they couldn't find! money, I will ruffle the covers a bit and magically a dollar appears. Amazing.

Oh my gosh - I thought I was the only one! Good to know that I'm not really a negligent mom....right? At least I have the excuse that Hawaii is really out of the way, so sometimes we have to wait until the toothfairy is making rounds in this direction. I mean, she can't be everywhere at once.

See this exactly why kids should KNOW that the toothfairy is real! Because she forgets at everyone's house! I think she should be fired, because she really isn't very good at her job :)

It's in the genes. Remember the giant note the child left in our hall? Yes, the generations carry on the traditions.

And as for that belly button?! Well, all I can say is there is more oportunity for lint collecting.

Thanks for being the funnest daughter and for sniffling my neck.
