HALLOWEEN 2008
Rubs I mean, Minnie Mouse
Mads aka The Greek Goddess
Rubs with her loot on Halloween night. She was one tired mouse. That little white pot is Play Doh. What a great idea. She has already played with it.
A close up of Mads. She chose to be a Goddess because of her Goddess like haircut. We gave her a trim on Halloween morning so she would be extra Goddessy. Mads had shimmer on her face and sparkle jewels and make up on her eyes. Even gold glitter hair spray. She was very glamorous.
I wasn't going to post this picture but it shows her shimmer and eye make up so well. (Why do children insist on making strange faces for the camera?) Let's be honest I still do it too.
Here's the loot picture taken this afternoon. She has it all sorted by yumminess. Left=yummiest (the candy bars) Right = least yummy ( gum and jaw breakers)
Hmmmm which one should I eat now?
Rubs sorting her candy. She sorted it different than Mads, I think she just put it all in piles. She probably has very specific reasons but to me it is just in 3 random piles.
The hard work is done. I think I'll watch Curious George now.
This was in Mads bag. It is a sucker wrapped in Halloween printed plastic with twisted pipe cleaner spider legs tied on by curling ribbon (that is even curled!) and a black pom pom body with googlie eyes glued on. Some people have WAY too much time on their hands. Why don't they come over and clean my shower or something.
Halloween was a big success. It was surprisingly warm for the last day in October and while it did sprinkle a bit of rain here and there it wasn't a bother. I took the girls out while Mighty M maned the door. We met up with a few of her friends and all walked together for a while. Then one set of parents took the older kids and we took the younger ones home for bed. Mads was very happy she didn't have to go home with Rubs and me. And equally happy she got more loot. When they were done I went to get Mads and we hit a few more houses on the way home. Am I the best Mom ever or what? Happy Halloween people. My decorations are already put away. Yippy!

I'm first. I must love you the most.
I may have to snag their photo's for my blog. They were very cute and yes, you were a great Mom, out there campagning for more candy for your kids. Did they get a pencil or a wrinkly apple?
PS And just what do you suggest I call Dad?
Maddy does have the best goddess hair ever. She is darling. I love her makeup. And little Minnie is so charming too. Tell Maddy to please save her Reese's peanut butter cups and Almond Joys for Aunt Tierney. Ruby would probably just say, for who? I will remind her soon enough!
Love,
Tierney
